After 13 minutes, l notice the story is definitely not my cup of tea : storm inside a cup, the stubbornness of the villagers. The mother seems wiser than the priest. l do not want to waste any more time on this movie. The only part l miss…

Only watched about 10 minutes of it. Very boring and didn't bother with the rest.

I give this 5 stars but for the life of me, I don't understand why these people had to go through so much turmoil. It seems the whole planet is intent on enslaving us to globalist ways. They are the controlling ones and if we…

The history alone in this movie is interesting. If like a drama based on actual fact you will like this. I can say I am glad I seen this.

Interesting movie. It was amazing to me how much control the church and the priest of the church had over the people. It seems to me what the church was doing was more along the lines of communist thinking than what was happening at the…

Wonderfully written and acted film about a slice of Irish history. I highly recommend it, especially if you are Irish, as I am.

A wonderful film. I laughed and cried. Maybe I do want to go to Ireland. So glad the Catholic church has changed a bit. Maybe.

Now, I'd like to visit Ireland. It's one of those movies or books that inspire or open your eyes to a country with its music, history and tradition. One of the best films I've seen this year!

As in "The Wind That Shakes The Barley", Ken Loach again revisits Ireland's historical unrest, and again he has hit the mark. The pacing could've been better at times, but he is an excellent storyteller. (And he's British, btw...!)

I loved this movie. The hall and dancing reminded me so much of the time I lived and worked in Scotland in the highlands and had me wondering where that person I once was has gone.

The latest from director Ken Loach telling the story of Jimmy Gralton. Loach show's his usual empathy for poor people fighting for their rights without ever slipping into 'preaching' or rhetoric in his film. Gralton was the only…
