Kolta the Grey Wolf is young and must learn the ways of the pack. He is upset when the older wolves go hunting and he is asked to stay and watch the younger pups. But when Kolta smells an elk, he thinks about how manywolves it could feed and gives chase.The elk escapes and when Kolta returns to the pups, he discovers that they are being threatened by a large black wolf. He knows he can't defeat the wolf alone, so he howls for help.Will Kolta be able to defend the young pups until the pack arrives?
