If you're a werewolf fan go ahead and read it. The quality is decent for that sub-genre. A guilty secret read. Overall it's a poor book with paper thin characters consisting of the bare minimum of motivations and male characters so devoid of character they are best described as plot pieces not characters. Personally the book would have been better if it had stuck with either Kalix or her sister Trix(?) but not both. Trix is a walking Mary Sue, in that she is perfect in almost every conceivable way which gets a bit tiring. Kalix is more interesting in that she is deeply flawed, but so little movement occurs in her attempts to fix those flaws (because we spend half the time with Trix) that the only thing she actually accomplishes by the end of the book is somehow getting to live rent free in an apartment with the only two college students who aren't worried about money.
